Marvel All-New Young Guns Poster
Clockwise from top left - Rogue by David Marquez, Magneto by Ryan Stegman, Medusa by Sara Pichelli, Havok by Nick Bradshaw, Scarlet Witch by me and Dr. Strange by Valerio Schiti. Colours by Edgar Delgado.
Nancy - C2E2 2014 Pre-Show Commission
I just loved working on this being a fan of Sin City. I’ve always wanted to do some fan art about the comic so this was a legitimate reason for me to do one. I like how it ended up as well.
Supergirl - C2E2 2014 Pre-Show Commission
Supergirl requests are getting much rarer lately. I think it will be a constant staple but not as common as before.
Wolverine And The X-Men #6 Cover.
This one was a challenging one in terms of how I had to compose the relationships among the three characters seen on the image. It was a ton of fun to draw the horse there though. Was inspired by some Frazetta imagery for that.
Wolverine And The X-Men #5 Cover.
Drawn by me and coloured by Marte Gracia. We decided on having a face off between Kid Apocalypse and Faithful John so ended up deciding a Spaghetti Western type feel for this one would be appropriate. Initially I thought I’d give a shot to colouring this but we ended up having Marte do it instead.
Lady Deadpool & Headpool - Germany Tour 2014 Pre-Show Commission
Interestingly enough this is actually the second time I’ve drawn Lady Deadpool. Have yet to read a Deadpool comic. This is a photograph of the image as I had to complete the piece on a train ride in Germany.
Nick Fury - Germany Tour 2014 Pre-Show Commission
German fans ask me two things more often than other fans: Steampunk characters and male characters. Normally I’ll get one male character request out of ten commission requests on a good day. So for the German tour I ended up doing four male characters out of a total of twenty one requests. Not too bad.
Wolverine And The X-Men #3 Cover.
Drawn by me and coloured by Jordie Bellaire. The concept for this came from Jason Latour. For the image on the ground I sketched the characters digitally which I later transformed into perspective. The sketch was then lightboxed on to the original art board where I completed the image.
Apparently I’ve made it into yet another “to watch” list in 2014. If this keeps up I might start believing in it myself. Thank you Crave Online.
