viic2 asked: I love your art and depiction of Kara Zor-El in Supergirl. My question is one the armour Kal and Kara are sporting in this reboot. Kal is wearing a raised S symbol where Kara seems to just be imprinted on. Is that a choice for the artist or is it bible like on the Justice League book?
Not really speaking in official capacity here but as far as I know Kal is wearing armour. Kara, however, is not wearing an armour in the typical sense. It’s closer to a bodysuit that can bend and stretch, hence the difference in which they are drawn.

I have much to learn as I gave up drawing for 7 years. Im having trouble with anticipating human form in my drawings and I love your work on the supergirl issues. Do you have any basic tips that helped you progress as an artist? Or any suggestions on how to mimic but not copy the work of the artists I admire?
The most important tips I can give you so you can improve is that you should never be content with your work. Be open minded and try different things. Learn to draw anything and everything. Practice from life and draw all the time.
As for style, it will come in time and of it’s own. If you force it, it will show.

kimberry asked: We won't be able to make any of the cons that you will be attending, is there a way to commission you otherwise? We are planning birthday present for our to-be 7yo SG fan in June.
