agrownupgeekgirl asked: So excited! I didn't realize you had a Tumblr ;D I love your work on Supergirl as well as pretty much everything else I've seen. Ok I'll stop Fangirling now, have a great day.

My Tumblr page is my primary website right now where I post everything.

Thank you very much!

greengirlsince7 asked: Is there a PO box, or similar non-residential address we could send fanmail to for you?

No, I don’t, but you can contact me from m_asrar@hotmail.com on the matter if you like.

gunplagamer asked: hey quick question, i found a on ebay, supergirl comics possibly signed by you and Michael Johnson, but the signature doesn't look the same as you sign it in the comics. could you verify if this is your signature or not? thanks!! :D :D keep up the amazing work!! - Steven ebay /itm/New-52-Supergirl-Lot-0-1-18-Signed-by-Asrar-Johnson-dc-superman-full-/281096804562?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item4172acd8d2

That is indeed my own signature. In recent months I’ve switched to a new signature which you can see in recent covers and illustrations I’ve done.

stinsonisyelling asked: Supergirl 19 was incredible. Please, never leave again, even for one page. Please.

Thank you kindly. Supergirl is a blast to work on however I’m human and do need to take some breaks once in a while. I do try to keep up with the schedules of course.

kalchiro asked: Hello Mr. Asrar, I was wondering if you were taking commissions for the comic convention in Athens. If so, how much and can I get something with wonder woman or supergirl, that my wife and I could hang in the living room. Something semi-finished with that awesome some-touch feel your supergirl work has. Thanks, Paul Soler

I realize this is a late reply so I assume you know I wasn’t able to attend Comic Con Athens this year. Hopefully I’ll be there next year though.

In answer to your question - I hope to open a commissions list for Athens for anyone interested in getting some original art from me.

gabibarbos4 asked: Hello, Mahmud, I love your work and you are a big influence to me, I wanted to know what are the artists that you like and that influenced you

Thank you very much!

My influences are too many to name but some that have been more prominent in my growth as an artist are John Buscema, John Byrne, Jim Lee and Adam Hughes. I’ve been also inspired by fine artists such as Schiele or Mucha and also come contemporary comic artists such as Immonen or Coipel. These are people that directly inspired me but nowadays I mostly draw inspiration from a lot of things and not only artists. It can be movies, comics, photography, books and most of all real life.
